The first episode of “The Great Indian Murder” started with the murder of Vicky Rai during his own party, which was hosted at his property. The investigation is headed by Sudha Bharadwaj (Richa Chadha), who focuses on the suspects.
Although the CBI is called in to look into the killing, CBI Officer Suraj Yadav (Pratik Gandhi) is really just manipulating the investigation to suit Vicky’s father Jagganath Rai’s (Ashutosh Rana) political ambitions. Plot

This is a large-scale series. The show transports you across many locations of India, including the forests of Chattisgarh, the Andaman Islands, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and of course, Delhi – the murder scene – in an attempt to craft a complex and openly pulpy story of crime and politics.
The show’s travelogue subtext proves to be one of its strongest points, despite the fact that the plot itself has way too many things happening on at once. Of course, this could just be house fever. Of course, there is the one major “murder,” but there are so many other deaths both before and after the turning point that it seems like murder is just another aspect of the India we are seeing.
